Water Filtration Solutions for Healthcare and Hospital Facilities
What Sets Us Apart
MedWater Solutions Reverse Osmosis (RO) Pretreatment Systems are available with Permeate water production rates of 7 to 1,577 LPH (1.87 GPH – 416.66 GPH) and 0.031-6.94 gallons/minute (0.116 LPM – 26.28 LPM).
- Our systems remove 95-99% of the contaminants.
- They operate on tap water with up to 1,000 - 2,000 PPM/MGL total dissolved solids.
- Various pressurized storage tanks are available to provide additional water supply

Our Standards

There are several standards-setting organizations and while there are similarities among their pure water specifications, they may differ in parameters such as silica, TOC, bacterial plate count, endotoxins, resistivity and others. Typical standards include:

The USP designation means that the water is the subject of an official monograph in the current US Pharmacopeia with various specifications for each type. The quality of water is typically required by the FDA for manufacture of oral and topical pharmaceuticals.

The Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute addresses preparation and testing of reagent grade water used in clinical laboratories. CLSI has replaced water standards previously issued by NCCLS: National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards.

Formerly known as American Society for Testing and Materials, ASTM has standards for laboratory water which designate Type I, II and III quality. These standards typically apply more to non-clinical laboratory settings.

College of American Pathologists. This organization works closely with CSLI in setting standards for validation and operation of laboratory equipment.
